Dog treats, Dog treats, and more Dog treats!

We have two dogs, Bonez is a St. Weiler and Izze B is a BullTerrier.  At 135 pounds, Bonez needs a gi-normous treat and Izze B just needs her little treat. I had to accomadate both sizes in purchasing dog treats....not easy or wallet friendly!

After trying all the options including sawing the large rawhides in quarters to accomadate our small dog or giving numerous treats to Bonez and just one to Izze B,  I gave up. I knew I had to do something different...easier and healthier! 

I made my own dog treats!!

With various sized bone shaped cookie cutters, fresh and natural ingredients from our local businesses and farmer's markets, I created homemade dog treats that are healthy for my dogs and cost friendly to my wallet! I am determined to create a homemade healthy dog treat that is affordable for all dog owners.

Drool worthy dog treats!!

Everytime the refrigerator opens the dogs come running and the drooling starts. I swear they know the sound of their own treat container as the lid comes off. I tried tricking them, as I opened their treat container and gave them a "store purchased"  treat instead of my homemade ones... they didn't want it. I put one of each kind in my hand and they both chose my homemade treat! So the decision was made, homemade dog treats from now on!

It only makes sense!!

​I went to an independant lab (referred by the WI Department of Agriculture) and had all of my dog treat receipes "guaranteed analysis" tested. This allowed me to receive my WI Commercial Feed License from the WI Department of Agriculture to manufacture and distribute my quality homemade and healthy dog  treats.
